Scenes of Service: MLK Day in Baton Rouge
Throughout the city of Baton Rouge volunteers can be seen cleaning debris, beautifying area homes and volunteering with local organizations in the name of Dr. Martin Luther King jr. To honor the man responsible for helping attain the freedoms many enjoy today citizens chose to give back . The United way hosted a community resource fair featuring companies such, Just Kids Smiles, Capital Area Agency on Aging, Louisiana Family and Youth Service Center and many more.
Zachary High School’s Interact club volunteered at the event by helping make sure volunteers were sent to the correct service sites.
