DrumRoll: Ann Isadore Gray turns 105
Family and friends gather in Baton Rouge to celebrate and honor one of the city's first Black nurses.
Born January 21, 1918, Ann Isadore Gray is a living testament of a young lady who walks by faith and lives by the Bible she has always preached. She is kind, patient and understanding- attributes that so many have forgotten.
She is held as a tremendous motivation to the nursing profession---especially to young nurses. However she says her greatest accomplishment is her family.
She is mother of six 6 children, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and four great, great grandchildren.
This weekend, her family, friends, and members of Higher Ground Church in Baton Rouge celebrate her longevity and the shining example that she has been for so many.
We salute you Mother Gray! Happy 105th Birthday!
